Ellen Koneck is the executive director at Commonweal. She was previously the head writer at Springtide Research Institute, and prior to that was an acquisitions editor at an academic press and an adjunct lecturer in Catholic Studies. Ellen has her Master of Arts in Religion from Yale Divinity School and has written for several publications. She lives in Minnesota with her husband and two sons.
