A History of the Rise of Islam and Christianity in African American Communities

Vanessa White, Director of the Certificate in Black Theology and Ministry, the Catholic-Muslim Studies Program will host Dr. Moore and Dr. Morgan to discuss, among other things, U.S. history of Islam and Christianity in African American communities, the challenges these communities faced, and the various functions religion played in their lives.
