February 27, 2013:

On October 3-5, 2012, the USCCB convened its first ever gathering of its three dialogue partners at Catholic Theological Union. The National Catholic-Muslim Plenary Conference, "Living Our Faith Together" was sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Islamic Society of North America, and the Islamic Circle of North America. This presentation is the Founders Address given by Archbishop Alexander Brunett, from the Bishops' Committee on Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs, USCCB.

February 22, 2013:

John Pawlikowski, O.S.M., Professor of Social Ethics and Director of the Catholic-Jewish Studies Program at Catholic Theological Union, speaks about The Emergence of the Catholic Social Encyclical Tradition.  This lecture was given as part of the Catholic Social Teaching and Mission Lecture Series.

February 8, 2013:

Reverend Joseph A. Komonchak, one of the leading interpreters of the legacy of Vatican II, gives a special lecture at Catholic Theological Union. This lecture inaugurates the three-year celebration of the 50th anniversary of the convening of the Second Vatican Council, and is a collaboration between Catholic Theological Union and DePaul University.

Rabbi A. James Rudin, DD speaks on the topic of "1962-2012: Four Major Issues for Catholics and Jews Fifty Years After the Second Vatican Council." November 4, 2012:

In the United States, high technology rescue medicine has often been used to extend the lives of those who are dying. Some medical ethicists suggest that such dependence on technology has indeed saved lives but has also "disfigured dying." In this Sundays At CTU lecture, Rev. Thomas Nairn, O.F.M., Ph.D. looks at the phenomenon of dying in the United States today and asks if the Catholic moral tradition has anything to say regarding care for those at the end of life in our highly technologized society.
