Scripture Alive: Telling
the Story with Drama, Dance, and Mime
Scripture comes alive when proclaimed with imagination. Religious educators can bring energy, joy and life-giving fun to their work with scripture and liturgical celebration. This session will focus on how drama, movement and storytelling can be used at any educational level (in worship or the classroom) to proclaim and study scripture.

Presenters: Graziano Marcheschi and Nancy
Seitz Marcheschi are directors of the ANAWIM PLAYERS, a Liturgical Performing
Arts Company. Nancy is liturgist and performing arts teacher at Pope John XXIII
School in Evanston. Graziano is Director of Lay Ecclesial Ministry Formation for
the Archdiocese of Chicago. Together they serve on the faculty of the Institute
of Pastoral Studies, Loyola University. They have many print, audio and
videotape publications and are parents of two daughters and a son.
