What Does Storytelling Have to Do with MY
Ministry?
Storytelling can be a valuable resource for
ministry. Discover why stories have always been a primary means of passing on
the faith, of processing life experience and of speaking with a prophetic voice.
We will look at stories from scripture, world literature, and from our own lives
and develop storytelling skills that can be used in many different contexts to
enhance our ministry.
Presenter: Graziano Marcheschi is a
nationally known speaker, author, storyteller and director who presents widely
at conferences on education and ministry. He is the host of a local cable
television program entitled, The Church, the Cardinal and You. In addition to
several books, he and his wife have created audio and video programs on the
proclamation and dramatization of Scripture. He is Director of Lay Ministry
Formation for the Chicago Archdiocese.
