A Moving Word: Media, Art, &
Worship
This interactive session seeks to help participants integrate media art into
their worship in a way that makes it "liturgical media art." A variety of
examples of this evolving art will be presented as well as critical frameworks
for planning, producing and evaluating its use. Crowley will introduce
participants to her highly inclusive Communal Co-Creation process that she
recommends for parishes interested in this new liturgical art form.
Presenter: Prof. Eileen D. Crowley is Assistant Professor of Word and Worship at Catholic Theological Union. A liturgist and media producer, she is author ofLiturgical Art in a Media Culture .
