This interactive session invites participants to explore evangelization through improvisational drama. Students will engage the gospels through a variety of acting media. Bring a sense of humor and a Bible. Dress comfortably. Limit: 25 participants, sign-ups required.
Presenter: Prof. Gilberto Cavazos-González is Associate Professor of Spirituality and Director of the Hispanic Ministry Program at Catholic Theological Union. For eight years he worked as a parish priest and youth evangelizer in San Antonio, Texas. During this time he led a group of 40 young preachers, known as La Tropa de Cristo, well known for preaching the Word through the use of skits and improvisational acting.
